It should come as no surprise that golf brings thousands of visitors to the picturesque Columbia Valley each year.
Golfers are spoiled for choice, with no less than nine 18-hole courses and six 9-hole courses. Each course in the Valley offers a unique golfing experience, from rugged mountain play to open pastoral settings with the challenge of roughly hewn bunkers, wildlife, hills and ravines.
A popular choice with local golfers, it has a layout known for its fairness to golfers, especially those of novice or intermediate skill. Wide, level fairways forgive all but the most errant of shots, and the course's light sprinkling of water and sand hazards allows some golfers to play a less cautious style than they might elsewhere.

Could it be the way it winds through the mature pine and spruce trees, or perhaps its the terrific vistas of the Columbia Valley that challenge you to focus on the view -- instead the ball?
